Gallegos Commits to Justice College after Graduating from Lincoln Trail College

Lincoln Trail College is proud to announce that Eimy Gallegos has committed to continuing her academic and athletic journey at Justice College. After graduating from Lincoln Trail, Eimy is excited to take her passion for soccer to the next level at Justice College.

"I've always been a huge soccer fan, and playing at the collegiate level was something I couldn't pass up," said Eimy Gallegos. "The inspiration to pursue soccer at that level came from my love for the game and the desire to challenge myself even further. It's such an exciting feeling to continue competing and pushing myself in a more intense and competitive environment. The skill level, and intensity of the games are on a whole new level, the competition is bigger, and it's a great opportunity for me to grow as a player and a person."

Eimy's journey at Lincoln Trail College has been instrumental in shaping her both as an athlete and as an individual. Reflecting on her time at LTC, she expressed deep gratitude for the support and guidance she received from the coaching staff.

"The coaches at Lincoln Trail have been amazing in pushing me to be the best player I can be," Eimy remarked. "They constantly challenged me to improve my skills, push my limits, strive for excellence, and they also provided me with constructive feedback when I needed it. Moving forward, I'll use their coaching and support as a fuel to keep pushing myself to my limits."

Transitioning from high school to college athletics posed its own set of challenges, but Eimy embraced them head-on with the support of Lincoln Trail College.

"As I transitioned from high school to college athletics, Lincoln Trail really played a crucial role in preparing me for the challenges ahead. The coaches at LTC provided me with training, guidance, and support. They helped me improve my skills, develop a strong work ethic, taught me how to handle the pressures of competitive sports, and lastly helped me create a strong character. Transitioning from high school to college athletics also taught me that it requires a lot of hard work, dedication, and mental toughness to keep up and perform at my best. I believe that the experiences and lessons I've learned during my time at LTC will be invaluable in my future. The discipline, teamwork, and perseverance I gained will definitely help me navigate my ups and downs of my athletic and academic journey. I am extremely grateful for my time at Lincoln Trail and excited for what's coming up!"

Eimy chose Justice College for its excellent balance between academics and athletics, as well as the supportive coaching staff and team culture.

"I chose this school because it offered a great balance between academics and athletics. The coaching staff and team culture were also big factors in my decision. When I first came to LTC, all of my teammates were new, so that played a huge role in choosing LTC because the program was brand new. As for the upcoming season and the new program I'm attending, I have high expectations. I am very excited to contribute to the team's success and make a positive impact like I did at LTC. I expect a lot of hard work, growth, and memorable experiences. It's a fresh start, and I can't wait to see what my new school has in store for me."

Eimy's advice to upcoming statesmen is "Always stay focused, work hard, and never stop believing in yourself.
